  • 1 tbsp instant yeast

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Hard Red Spring Wheat Flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  • Add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm environment (e.g., a kitchen counter in a room around 70-75°F or inside an oven with just the light on) for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased loaf pan.
  • Let the dough rise again for 30 minutes in the same warm environment. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the bread for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
