  • Loaf Pan
  • Kitchen Towel

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Instant Yeast

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Warm Water 110°F
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  • Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf into a greased loaf pan.
  • Cover the pan and let the dough rise for an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the bread for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
  • Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on the loaf before baking. Experiment with additional flavors, such as garlic powder or dried herbs, mixed into the dough.
